It is Sunday morning in Northern Ireland and Andrew and I have spent the morning doing our usual: trying to coach each other out of the bed. I think to myself, "We have GOT to get a routine!" But I have a feeling the word "routine" will never describe our life! So we settle for Andrew getting out of the bed and into the shower and me staying in for a few more minutes of "kind of awake" and contemplating how cold it must be outside of my lovely covers.
I am so excited at the moment! All of Lisburn's Christmas lights are up and we are starting to talk about the Christmas tree AND I actually already bought my first new Christmas ornament and two knitted Christmas stockings! I love Christmas. It makes me feel...less neurotic lady and more Mother Theresa-ish.
What are your Christmas plans this year???
How is that your Sunday mornings sound EXACTLY like mine!? I'm sure your "outside the covers" temperature is a bit colder than mine, but all the thoughts you described fit me and Rick to a T!
ReplyDeleteChristmas plans...be here in Columbia. New Year's plans...Boston with my new niece Caroline! :)
